They have built a hotel by the river Nile in a town called Shendi. Shendi is 174 km north of Khartoum (the capital of Sudan). They have selected this area because it is located in an ancient Merowe civilization, just 15 km from place called Bejrawiya, and Nagaah & Al Mossourat. These are ancient cities old as the Egyptian civilization.     
They have been preserved by the government as tourism area. They consist of pyramids, Royal Bath and Temples, also there is Alsabalouga water falls about 50 KM from Shendi town. Its a beautiful scene every one will enjoy it.
